The Project

First Video, the Journey
We employed a minimalistic 2D animation style with dynamic pacing to bring ANICO’s history into focus, highlighting their evolution and growth in a modern, engaging way.

We open with strong confident voice to introduce ANICO’s century-long commitment to trust and financial strength, illustrating their founding goal of “financial solutions for generations to come.”
Through concise motion graphics, we highlight milestones such as reaching $100 billion in life coverage in 2020 and serving over 5 million policyholders nationwide.
The narrative culminates in the 2022 Brookfield Reinsurance partnership which depicts with bold callouts and seamless transitions. This helps underscore ANICO’s blend of enduring values and forward-focused innovation.
Second Video, the Experience
The second video shifts to FireLight™, ANICO’s state-of-the-art annuity e-application platform, where we emphasize efficiency and innovation through a sleek modern 2D approach.

Crafting the FireLight™ Walkthrough
With fluid motion, precise visual cues, and an intuitive flow, we demonstrate how FireLight™ consolidates all required forms into one central interface, ensuring good-order processing and streamlined workflows. Our goal was to highlight how ANICO agents embrace a seamless digital experience.
We illustrate pre-fill capabilities through smooth animations that save agents time, minimize copy errors, and enhance data accuracy.
Next, real-time training checks and suitability assessments appear, showing how agents can address concerns before submission and reduce back-and-forth with clients and carriers.
Finally, we depict quicker issue resolutions and accelerated commissions, reinforcing the value of an efficient digital process that empowers ANICO agents every step of the way.
Project Goals and Focus
Our A+ team in Houston hit the following marks:
- Blended storytelling and 2D animation to convey ANICO’s history and innovations, reinforcing brand authenticity.
- Crafted intuitive infographic animations to showcase FireLight’s efficient form submissions, training checks, and many other features making complex software processes feel seamless.
- Maintained an uplifting tone through smooth transitions, confident narration, and modern minimalist design to instill trust and engagement from agents and stakeholders.
Behind the Scenes – Storyboarding
Before we animated a single frame, our team sketched every beat of the story. From the logo reveal and milestone callouts in the ANICO overview (see storyboard image 1) to the data-driven sequences; like the $5 billion annuity sales and $7 trillion retirement gap in the second image. Each sketch mapped timing, transitions, and narration cues.
These detailed storyboards ensured that both the corporate narrative and the FireLight™ walkthrough flowed seamlessly, giving stakeholders clear visibility into our creative process before production began.
