Know Your Audience
You don't always have to start from zero. Casting a wide net to a vague audience is rarely advised. Meet your customers exactly where they are - their time is precious, and they will stop watching if they can predict your story.

Less Is More
It's easy to over-explain a product, which can overwhelm and confuse your audience - a sin worse than having no video at all! When showing key features, offer about 3, but no more than 5, unique sales propositions.

Be Creative
The purpose of a great product demo is to explain your solution and engage with your customers. Mesmerize them for a minute to draw them in while answering their questions. A good video will qualify, educate, and compel your target audience - it's advised to think outside of the box! Be creative, think in analogies, abstraction, and suspended reality in order to tell your story.
