Bringing Motion Into Your Booth
You need motion to draw the eye. No one is going to be scanning the convention hall floor and have their eyes land on a text heavy poster hanging in the back of your booth. You need life and movement and something that grabs attention. And you get that through visuals, through animations with action and motion and bright colors. Look, we’re not saying you need a Mardi Gras float (though that’s not a bad idea) but you need the trade show equivalent of a Mardi Gras float. You need something that will make people stop walking, take a step toward your booth, and get curious for more–and then your sales people can engage them.
We Put You On an Even Playing field with the Big Guys
You don’t need the same big pockets as the big guys. The truth is that our skilled artists, programmers, and developers–as well as advanced computing–have the ability to put on every bit as good a show as your biggest competitor. We work with the small companies and we work with the big companies–we know how to make a trade show presentation and just because you may be a little fish in a big pond doesn’t mean we’re going to do anything less than our best for you. The same action-packed animation expertise that we deliver to the Fortune 500s we will deliver to your local company.
Let’s just be frank about it: we’re good at what we do, from the point of ideation to storyboarding to artwork to animation to rendering to final product. When you’re hiring us you’re hiring a team of skilled craftspeople who have honed their abilities to a razor’s edge. We know that hiring an animation team is a commitment, but we’re determined to make it the best investment you can make for your business.
As an example, we worked with FractureID, a smaller business, and they had more people crowding their booth than their much larger competitor down the aisle. Check out the video that we did for them here.
Successful Trade Show Media Tips
1.
Involve Stakeholders Early
Include all the stakeholders upfront in the review process for your animation. There’s nothing worse than getting halfway along only to have some senior executive make you change direction–and there’s just no time.
2.
Embrace Bold Ideas
Have an open mind to “out there” ideas. The point of the animation is to draw attention, and sometimes it takes some different kinds of thinking to get that across. We want to be appealing, and we do it in creative, bold, and outside-the-box ways. So take a chance on something that might be outside your comfort zone. You can trust us: we’ve made many trade show media presentations, and we’ve helped generate hundreds of millions of dollars worth of leads and sales for our clients.
3.
Optimize Visual Impact
Don’t rely solely on voice overs for your animation. Odds are good that people are going to be watching your videos from across the aisle, down the row, and there’s going to be a ton of noise. Never underestimate the power of good graphical animation to get people to come closer to your booth to where they can hear your pitch, buy in to your ideas, and become a sale. Let us do our thing!
We start early to be ready when Needed.
Timing is crucial when it comes to getting ready for a big event (or even a small event). If you want an animated video that is going to draw eyeballs, you need to plan in advance to get things rolling.
Plan earlier than you think you’re going to need to. A good video will take at least two months to turn around, but we normally can’t do it if we get the call two months and a day before the trade show. We may be booked out for a month or more. It may take us a little longer on your video to get all the stakeholders on board. Just remember how important these trade shows are to your business and plan accordingly. Honestly? We recommend planning at least 4 months in advance to be safe.

Our Explainer, Video Services
Our team records live-action explainer videos, as well as 2D and 3D animations. We can also mix multiple styles into a single video when that’s the best approach.
We have editors based in Houston and remotely and can arrange actors or voice actors for the explainer videos. We take care of the whole process from start to finish, including location scouting, casting, lighting, editing, and final touches — we even capture drone footage!
