Industrial 3D animation is how you show a sealed assembly working, a fluid path clearing, or a maintenance procedure running correctly, to a buyer who will never open the housing.

Product cutaways
The housing goes transparent, the assembly runs, and the buyer finally sees what the spec sheet was describing. This is the single most requested piece of industrial work we do.

Process and facility walkthroughs
A sequence that spans equipment, sites, or phases. Used for training, regulatory submissions, sales, and investor material, usually all four from the same render.
The FESCO project is a multi-stage process built this way.
Assembly and maintenance sequences
Step-by-step animation of installation, service, or teardown. Cheaper than reshooting a field video every time the procedure changes, and it works in any language.
Trade show loops
Silent, looping, readable from twelve feet away in a loud hall. A booth video is a different edit from a website video, and we cut it differently. More on trade show media.
We start from your engineering
Send the CAD. We work regularly from STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, and Inventor exports, and starting from real geometry means the animation matches the product instead of approximating it.
No CAD? We model from drawings, photographs, and spec sheets. It adds time to the schedule, not risk to the accuracy, because your engineer reviews the storyboard and animatic before anything renders.

Industrial animation questions
Cost is driven by shot count, how much modeling is needed from scratch, and render complexity. Working from your existing CAD is the single largest cost reduction available. Our pricing page covers the drivers and ranges in detail.
STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, Inventor, and most neutral CAD exports. If your team can export it, we can almost certainly import it. Send a sample file early and we will confirm before the project starts.
Yes. Multi-site process animation is one of the more common industrial requests, because it is the one thing no camera crew can capture in a single shoot. We build the full sequence as one continuous piece and cut shorter versions from it.
Regularly. Pre-production animation from CAD is how most industrial products get marketed before first article. It is also how a lot of them get funded.
Often. If the story is a process flow, a comparison, or a set of numbers, 2D motion graphics communicates it faster and costs less. We recommend 2D when geometry is not carrying the meaning, and we will say so before you spend on 3D.
You do. You receive the delivered masters in the formats you need. Project files and source assets are available on request, and we keep archives so a future revision does not mean starting over.
