SLB OptiSite: Asset Performance Animation From Darkness to Clarity

SLB's OptiSite film opens by turning the lights off on a grayscale industrial facility. The storyboard we sketched at Motion Giraffx started from that blackout: facility operators, engineers and digital operations leaders know the dread of an unplanned shutdown, and the product exists to prevent it.

Warning beacons glow in the dark and a single equipment skid lights up, then the view lifts to an aerial network of facilities and pipelines joined by blue data lines. Abstract cubes assemble to stand for configurable data operations and AI that spots risk early. Modular units synchronize through digital pipelines, and the scene moves offshore to a floating production storage and offloading vessel. Metric cards cover oil production, gas production and energy consumption, along with the goals of enhancing efficiency, reducing footprint, increasing throughput and avoiding surprises. The film returns to the first skid, then ends on OptiSite and the SLB logo.

The craft call was a single color rule: gray and warning light for what is hidden, blue for what the data reveals. A viewer who never reads a label still sees the facility move from blind spots to clarity, and the return to the original skid shows a single machine inside a larger picture.
