Fervo Energy Roadshow Cutdown: Scalable Geothermal in 68 Seconds
Case study Fervo Energy Investor Roadshow Video Service Video Production Industry Energy, Oil & Gas Fervo Energy's investor roadshow film ran 16 minutes. This 68-second cutdown is the version the public can share, and Motion Giraffx built it for clean energy investors, corporate energy buyers, utilities and sustainability leaders who may never sit through the full film.
The cut opens on the team in the field and the office, with power lines, a city skyline and an industrial plant at night behind a voiceover about growing demand on the electric system. CEO and co-founder Tim Latimer describes a new, scalable way of producing geothermal energy: geo-blocks grouped into a geo-cluster for large-scale, reliable, carbon-free power. A 3D animation shows standard 50 MW units side by side, with captions for construction in under two years per unit and a design life of 30-plus years. VP of Operations Quinn Woodard talks about cutting costs and working with partners over footage of the plant being built, a drilling rig and steaming cooling fans. COO Sarah Jewett closes on geothermal as an enabler of the modern economy, and the end card marks Fervo as Nasdaq listed under FRVO.
The craft call was to hand the explanation to animation and keep people around it. The animated rock makes scalability visible, while the executive and field footage show that the idea is already being built.
A public cutdown has to stand on its own. Video production that blends interviews, field footage and animation lets us pull a short version out of a long film and keep the argument whole.
