Fervo Energy Culture and Values Recruiting Video

"You come in and your opinions matter on day one" is the promise at the center of this Fervo Energy recruiting film. Fervo is a geothermal developer working toward 24/7 carbon-free electricity, and the film is addressed to job seekers deciding whether to bring their careers to clean energy.

Over 143 seconds, employees talk about the work while the picture moves between a company retreat, the office and geothermal drill sites. Others talk about colleagues who are smart and kind, about engineers, finance people and subsurface experts looking at one goal through different lenses, and about having space to decide who they want to become. The hiring pitch comes from inside the team as well: Fervo is looking for creative, energetic people who care about adding clean renewable power to the grid. The team celebrates outdoors at the end, under the on-screen words "I am like, really happy to be here."

In the cut from Motion Giraffx, purpose and daily life share the screen. Drill sites appear early, next to talk of the mission, and the meetings, objectives sessions and team events take over once people start describing each other. A candidate sees the rigs and the colleagues in the same two minutes, without anyone reciting a values list.
