SLB Recruitment Video: Larissa and Justin on Working at SLB

Neither engineer in this SLB recruitment film gives a name until the final stretch. For two minutes they talk about the work, and the people who need to hear it are engineering job seekers and energy industry professionals. Motion Giraffx's part was to let the work speak first and the résumé second.

Larissa, a cloud software engineer, defines innovation as the freedom to use current technology to solve a problem, even if that only means improving an existing system. Justin, an industrial IoT engineer, talks about colleagues from many cultural, social and technical backgrounds, training that continues through a career, and an industry that welcomes change. Between their lines the camera finds people coding, discussing architecture diagrams at a whiteboard, enjoying office recreation and handling hardware and solar installations. A title card calls SLB a global technology company, and the end screen reads "Delivering digital at scale."

The craft call was the late introduction. A candidate hears what it is like to work there before learning who is talking, so the statements land as colleague-to-colleague advice, and the names and job titles that follow confirm real, specific roles.

When real employees carry the message, video production is where we start. Their words do the persuading, and our job is the framing.
