When National Oilwell Varco asked if we could create a 2D oil and gas animation for one of their social media marketing videos celebrating a product that’s over 50 years old, we thought they were pulling our tail. Little did we know how transformative their design has been for the oil and gas industry! The concept was to exemplify how their Red Thread IIA fiberglass pipe and fittings received the first UL LISTED approval for composite underground fuel handling. Seeing how Gas station design has changed a lot since 1968, so we thought the dichotomy between evolving gas station design and their product remaining the same was a testament to their quality, design, and performance.
