Video production in Houston is another world. We always get to work with the coolest clients! While they didn’t take us up on our suggestion of rebranding their advanced chemical solution to “SCHMOO-B-GONE,” Solugen did allow us to combine video and animation to showcase their groundbreaking technology. To illustrate how their product dissolves schmoo (buildup from corroded iron sulfide coated with oil) inside industrial piping, we showed it at work in a lab and on site at a facility, lending it strong credibility. Working with these chemists made us feel like little kids in a magic shop! The animations served to illustrate more abstract ideas of time and cost savings, while the video gave it trust-building authenticity. Seeing is believing, and as amazing as 3D animation is, nothing beats a good live-action video to boost product credibility where applicable. Not sure how to decide? Like most local studios, we do a significant amount of video production in Houston and the surrounding areas.
